Question 1
42867

Factorise \(  {m}^{2}-16   \)

\((m+4)(m-4)\)

\[m^2-16\]
As \(a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)\), We can write it as:
$$
\begin{aligned}
&=m^2-4^2\\
&=(m+4)(m-4)
\end{aligned}
$$
